Discussion regarding the medical malpractice prevailing in Malaysia will be done along with highlighting the various medical negligence committed by medical practitioners. In this chapter, problem statement and research of objectives has been provided along with the significance and limitation of this particular research study. The Introduction chapter has provided the background of the study indicating the medical malpractice insurance prevailing within the healthcare sectors of Malaysia. The literature review chapter have provided with the concepts of Medical Malpractices insurance in Malaysia along with highlighting the Impact of state laws on medical malpractices insurances in Malaysia.
In this case the malpractice insurance policy tends to indicate the financial coverage plan that aims to protect and prevent practitioners from exploiting financial losses while providing professional services in the healthcare industry. Apart from this most of the medical malpractice coverage tends to depend on the claim made forms through which patients give consent regarding the urgency of the situation. According to the Malaysian state laws the courts have given directions regarding the malpractice policies prevailing within the nation. In this domain, there are various types of medical malpractice prevailing within the healthcare industry of Malaysia such as failure to detect serious health conditions, surgical errors, birth injuries, and cancer misdiagnosis as well as medication errors. These types of activities or malpractices tend to endanger the financial condition of the healthcare professionals as well as tend to interfere by ceasing their professional activity. The application submitted by the healthcare committee in Malaysia to the higher authority has been approved by the courts stating that a professional indemnity cover should be provided to all healthcare professionals practising in a medical institution in Malaysia.

The unusual methodological approach has also been highlighted in this study as this study has conducted both primary and secondary research. On the other hand, the structure of medical ethics will also be discussed in this study along with highlighting the entire infrastructure of the Malaysian healthcare industry. Apart from this, the contribution of medical malpractice insurance to the professional healthcare workers has also been exhibited in this particular research study along with highlighting the importance of factors including the insurance structure in the nation such as state laws, medical ethics as well as legal administration.
The objective of the study is going to deal with the exploration of the medical malpractices prevailing within the healthcare industry based in Malaysia. On the other hand, it will help in investigating the state laws in Malaysia indicating the rules regarding Medical malpractices in Malaysia.
In this case five journals have been taken to justify the information provided in the literature review and establish a relationship between the independent as well as the dependent variable.
In this slide the literature gap has been identified regarding the medical malpractices prevailing within the healthcare sectors based in Malaysia. In this case researchers have been unable to come across more accurate data regarding the implications of medical negligence as well as the impact of such negligence on the lives of common people. This has thus created a major literature gap in this particular research study.
In this slide “Paul Bauslie’s 8 box model” has been taken into account to determine the relationship between the independent and dependent variables of the research study. A wide range of interdependent variables have been taken into account including state laws, medical ethics, legal administration, hospital management as well as medical insurance coverage. The data have been collected over here while undertaking “primary quantitative research” using surveys through “questionnaires” from the respective people related with the Malaysian healthcare industry. SPSS have been used to retrieve the values and acknowledge the descriptive and inferential tests for the results.
